Because the only other machine I have to test with is a Win7 laptop whose screen resolutions is less than the Win7 PC I am connecting to. Force the Remote Desktop into full-screen mode: Ctrl + Alt + Break. Once the situation is fixed both Microsoft RDC and Jump Desktop work fine, so this does not appear to be a problem with Jump Desktop itself. Switches your Remote Desktop client between full-screen and windowed mode: Ctrl + Alt + Pause. Once I do that I can connect from my imac again without issue (until I upgrade OS X again, presumably). To work around the issue try opening up the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection program on your PC and connect to any other workstation in fullscreen mode. Then (I presume) negotiation begins about the screen resolution. When it happens the initial connection appears to exceed because I can view a corporate warning about connecting to the network (I connect via a VPN). Alt + Delete in the Remote Desktop session opens the Windows menu of an application running on the remote system. I think it happens because the screen resolution of my imac exceeds that of the PC.
